Avanell Darr

Avanell Darr, 93 of Oak Harbor, OH died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born July 19, 1928 in Toledo, OH to the late Herman and Mabel (Wormwood) Fick. On October 25, 1952 she married Kenneth H. Darr who preceded her in death March 15, 2010. Ava was a homemaker and attended St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. Survivors include her children: Gregory (Kelly) Darr of Marblehead, OH, Rebecca Madison of Oak Harbor, OH, and Jeffery (Candice) Darr of Oak Harbor, OH; grandchildren: Cynthia Lyon, Deborah Marquez, Jennifer Madison, Victoria Leathead, and David Madison; 7 great- grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Leota Wolf, Bonnie Carroll, and Alice Sherrill, and a grandson Nicholas Darr. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8pm at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be held privately by the family with burial in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Nicholas Darr Memorial Scholarship Fund or Make- A- Wish.
