Austyn James Morin, 17, of Marblehead, Ohio died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 4, 2013 in Hermanville, Mississippi. He was born on April 27, 1996 in Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Jamie and Amanda (Golliver) Morin. He just completed his junior year at Danbury High School, and worked as a line cook for Ciao Bella Italian Restaurant, Port Clinton, Ohio. Austyn was a member of the Wayside Temple in Castalia and also a member of Erie Shores Assembly of God, Port Clinton. He was active in sports, playing football and running track at Danbury. His hobbies included riding dirtbikes, lifting weights, hanging out with his girlfriend, Megan Stephens, but most importantly he enjoyed being a big brother to his little brother and sister, whom he loved dearly. Survivors include his parents, Jamie and Amanda; brother: Hunter, and sister: Jocelyn; paternal grandparents: George and Rosalinda Morin, Bellevue, Ohio; maternal grandfather: Ken and Chris Golliver, Bellevue, Ohio; maternal grandmother: Lorrie Vargo, Sandusky, Ohio; great grandmother: Ida Vargo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, football buddies, and school friends at Danbury. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 10am until funeral services at 11am with Pastor Rusty Yost officiating.
