Anthony Joseph Grohman

Anthony Joseph “Tony” Grohman, 80, of Catawba Island, OH and formerly of Defiance, OH died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024 with family in Charleston, SC. He was born June 15, 1943 in Detroit, MI the son of Richard and Jane (Healy) Grohman. Mr. Grohman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Surviving him are daughters: Cori (Sean) Byrne of Leesburg, VA, Tricia (Dale) Miller of Cheboygan, MI; son: Anthony (Belinda) Grohman of Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Taylor Byrne, Alexa Byrne and Molly Miller; sisters: Karla Dunn of Houston, TX and Jayne (Mike) O’Toole of Hilton Head, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen “Kathy” Grohman and his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Joseph Szybka at 10:30am, Jan. 18, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH where visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the start of Mass at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. You are invited to join the family at the Port Clinton Elks for a reception immediately after the burial.
