Anthony G. "Tony" Winke

Anthony G. "Tony" Winke, 62, of Port Clinton passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born January 30, 1957 in Port Clinton, OH the son of Gerald and Joyce (Kochensparger) Winke. He married Nancy Borozny on October 25, 1988 and she survives. Anthony was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Anthony was an Engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad for over 19 years. He spent 20 years in Florida where he was a furniture salesman and he built pools for Pace Pools with his brother-in-law. In his life he enjoyed fishing, bird watching and woodworking. Surviving are his wife: Nancy; daughter: Kirstin Winke of Columbus, OH; son: Matthew Winke of Port Clinton; mother: Joyce Winke of Port Clinton; brother: Tracy (Virginia) Winke of Ferrum, VA. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Visitation will be held 4:00 - 6:00 pm Monday, August 19, 2019 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. where memorial services will be conducted Monday at 6:00 pm. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Catawba Island Cemetery. Father John Missler will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
