Anthony A. "Tony" Shack

Anthony (Tony) A. Shack, 79 of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born August 27, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Anthony J. and Julia (Kosztyu) Shack. Tony was a 1964 graduate of Waite High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Tony worked at Libbey Owens Ford for 34 years retiring in 1999. On June 19, 2013 he married Roxanne (Schultze) and she survives. He was a member of American Legion Post #279 in Elmore, OH. Tony was a passionate collector of all things related to Harley Davidson and especially enjoyed riding his Harley. He also liked visiting flea markets and collecting coins and turquoise. Tony enjoyed doing anything related to the outdoors, such as hunting, fishing, and boating.

Surviving are his loving wife Roxanne of Oak Harbor, OH; daughters: Laurie (Scot) Haar of Gibsonburg, OH, Lisa (Robert) Graham of Oregon, OH, and Shelly (Ronald) Coker of Curtice, OH; sons: Jason (Lori) Schultze of Elmore, OH, Shawn (Amy) Schultze of Genoa, OH, and Nathan (Hayley) Schultze of Woodville, OH; grandchildren: Jamie, Jodie, Kyle (Briannah), Jared, Madie (Alec), Allison (Richard), Evan, Dylan, Leah, Lacey, Summer and Brendan. Great-grandchildren: Shaun, Aiden and Adley. Tony is also survived by his Yorkie’s, Bella and Trixi and most recently gifted his wife, Roxanne, an additional Yorkie which he appropriately named Angel Eyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Howard Shack.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and, particularly, nurse Kayla Burks who provided exceptional care. We could not have asked for a more compassionate and kind-hearted individual to care for him.
