Annette R. Brewster

Annette R. Brewster, 62 of Martin, OH passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011. She was born September 5, 1948 in Toledo, OH to the late Clayton L. and Mildred L. (Bothe) Magsig. She was a 1966 Harris- Elmore High School graduate. Annie was employed by the Woodmore School District for 26 years as a cafeteria worker and a bus driver for 20 years. She also worked at the Fremont Speedway as a ticket taker and tractor driver for many years. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Elmore. She had been a member of the Genoa American Legion Band for 35 years, the North Coast Concert Band, former president of Woodmore Band Boosters, and a volunteer with the Woodmore High School Drama Club. Annie was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed travelling on her motorcycle, going to the theater, participating in many community activities, and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include her sons: Charles (Annette) Brewster of Perrysburg, OH, Daniel (Leanne) Brewster of Sunbury, OH, and Paul (Elizabeth) Brewster of Graytown, OH; granddaughter Chelsea; sister Barbara Rollins of Genoa, OH; brother Russell Magsig of Anza, CA; many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11am at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. William L. Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Susan G. Komen Fund, Honor Flight Northwest Ohio, Woodmore High School Band or Drama Club.
