Annette J. Veverka

Annette J. Veverka, 49, of Marblehead, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, Ohio. She was born August 10, 1959 in Sandusky, the daughter of Donald Walters and Betty Jane (Brown) Walters Lalond. Annette was employed by the Marina Restaurant, Goodwill, and for over 22 years, was the office staff of Outdoor Power Equipment. She was a member of Camp Runinmuck, loved boating and going to Kelleys Island, vacationing with her husband, snowmobiling and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband John C. Veverka, who she married on September 24, 1977; daughter, Christine Veverka; sons, JC and Jeff Veverka; grandchildren, Caia, Sarah and Lily all of Marblehead; sisters, Melissa (Walters) Pietschman and LeeAnne (Walters) Peace and a brother, Michael Walters, all of Sandusky; several half sisters and brother and a niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from 4 7 P.M. Monday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Marblehead. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County or the American Cancer Society.
