Ann C. Szakovits

Ann C. Szakovits, 88, of Port Clinton, died Wednesday at Countryside Continuing Care Center in Fremont. She was born December 8, 1919 in Fremont, the daughter of Steven and Elizabeth (Tinta) Szakovits. Ann was retired from the US Gypsum Company after more than thirty years of service. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. Surviving are nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Steven, Julius, Emery "Jim", Joseph, Gregory and twin brother Frank; sisters Mary Gilbert, Elizabeth Madga, Yolanda Szakovits and Rose Monak. Visitation will be held from 3 8 pm Friday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Prayer services will be conducted at 9:30 am Saturday at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at the Immaculate Conception Church. Fr. John C. Missler will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception School or Mooseheart.
