Angelo J. Cuttaia, 77, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on July 22, 1939 in Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Bernice (Castro) Cuttaia. On December 28, 1958 he married his High School Sweetheart Marilyn Zippi and she survives. Ang graduated from Lakeside High School in 1957 and joined the US Army where he served in Germany as a military police officer from 1957-1960. He was the Regional Sales Manager at Mameco/Tremco based out of Cleveland until his retirement in 2000. Ang was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton where he was currently an usher at the 8am mass. He was also a lifetime member of the Port Clinton Knights of Columbus; charter member of the Port Clinton Elks; member of the Port Clinton American Legion; member and past Commodore of the Port Clinton Yacht Club and Blue Gavel, Past President and current member of Colonial Club, and member of the Port Clinton Athletic Boosters and the PC Fullbackers. He was an avid golfer and Notre Dame fan. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and watching his grandchildren's sporting activities. Survivors include his loving wife, Marilyn; son, Rick (Gina) Cuttaia, Naperville, Illinois; daughters, Lesha Cuttaia, Del Ray Beach, Florida and Andrea (Tom) Weldon, Port Clinton; grandchildren, Joe Holmes, Alexa Cuttaia, Abbey, Zach, and Jacob Weldon; sister, Virginia (Dan) Schiewe, Raleigh, North Carolina; many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. On Friday, September 16, 2016, prayers will begin at the funeral home at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio with Father John C. Missler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Marblehead, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception School, Port Clinton Athletic Boosters, or to the Port Clinton Knights of Columbus.
