Angelika "Angie" Evans

April 12, 1951 — August 15, 2023

Angelika A. “Angie” Evans, 72, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 12, 1951 in Germany, the daughter of Margrit Semark. She married the love of her life, Eddie Evans, on May 30, 1970, and they spent 49 years together before his passing on June 24, 2019. Angie worked hard to earn her LPN license and worked as a nurse for many years in Ohio and Arizona before retiring. She often spoke of the great memories she had with her husband exploring the beauty in Arizona and surrounding states. She loved her family and friends deeply and would do anything she could for them. She loved to spoil her daughter and grandkids and showered them with love and support in all they did. She will be missed dearly.


Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Tammy (Mark) Williams; grandchildren, Brennen (Tori) Williams, Caleb Williams, and Kaiden Williams; mother, Margrit Semark; brothers, Eckhardt Goedde and Edmund (Cheryl) Goedde; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Mike) McCloskey, and Betty Evans; best friend since childhood, Judy (Dave) Waggoner, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie Evans; son, Brian Evans; brothers-in-law, Gerald Evans and Donald (Karen) Evans; and sister-in-law, Beatrice Koegel.


Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, with Pastor Bruce Kent of LaPointe United Methodist Church officiating. Those planning on making a memorial contribution are asked to please consider the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org) or the Multiple Sclerosis Association (www.engage.mymsaa.org).
