Allen D. Anderson

Allen D. Anderson, 74 of Oak Harbor, OH died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 peacefully in his sleep at home. He was born April 21, 1939 in Port Clinton to the late Ralph and Agnes (Fastzkie) Anderson. He was a 1957 graduate of Port Clinton High School. On June 7 1958 he married the former Judith Hamann and she survives. Allen had worked for many years at Standard Products in Port Clinton as a tool and die maker but retired from the former TRW in Fremont, OH. He was a member of Shoreline Church, Oak Harbor and loved to golf, fish, and watch westerns. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Judith of Oak Harbor; sons: Dana (Laura) Anderson of Oak Harbor, Steven Anderson of Morgantown, WV, Jeffrey and Daniel Anderson of Oak Harbor; daughters: Sherri (Charles) Puster of Shreve, OH and Jodie (Adam) Cherry of Oak Harbor; 7 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren and brother Carl (Jo) Anderson of Clearwater, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Delbert Anderson and sister Marilyn Hallier. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30am Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Shoreline Church, Oak Harbor with Pastor Bill Blue officiating. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
