Alfred C. Stinson

Alfred C. Stinson, 64, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1952 in Russell County, Virginia, the son of Willard and Trula (Ball) Stinson. Al worked for the Iron Creek Coal Company in West Virginia before moving to Ohio where he worked at US Gypsum for over 12 years in the Paper Mill. He then went to work in production at Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde. He was a member of the Sportsmans Club in Gypsum, Ohio. He especially enjoyed seeing and spending time with his granddaughter, Hailey, who was the apple of his eye. Survivors include his sons, Brian (Karen) Stinson, of Gypsum, Ohio and Kevin (Tiffany Schiller) Stinson, of Port Clinton; granddaughter, Hailey Stinson; significant other, Jan Moskal; as well as numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Danny Lee Stinson. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 1-5pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.
