Alexander P. Araguz

Alexander P. "Lolly" Araguz, 61, of Port Clinton and formerly of Orange City, Fl died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at University Hospital, Cleveland, OH after a short battle with cancer. He was born June 28, 1957 in Port Clinton, the son of Simon and Carmen (Portales) Araguz. He was a self-employed construction worker. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to a wide variety of music, being outside, making people laugh or as he said "being a clown", fishing, he was always piddling with stuff, and he enjoyed drinking his Pepsi (Beer). He especially enjoyed his critters: Boots and Mia. Surviving are his daughters: Dominique S. (Nathan) Berryman, Alyssa G. Araguz, Samantha J. (Bobby Chilton) Nelson all of Port Clinton; son: Cole A. Araguz of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Leigha Kohlman, Emma Shrader, Kayden Shrader, Robert Chilton; brothers: Arnold "Gus" (Holly) Araguz of Orlando FL, Arthur Araguz of Port Clinton, Simon (Gloria) Araguz of Clyde, OH; many nieces and nephews and his previous wife Bobbie Jo. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, daughter: Alexis Kohlman, grandson: Devin Kohlman and uncle: Jesse Portales. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Prayers will be said Friday morning at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father John Missler at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. Port Clinton, OH. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the family or donors choice.
