Albert Leroy Royster Jr., 70 of Oak Harbor, OH died suddenly at his home Friday, September 27, 2013. He was born December 3, 1942 in Washington Courthouse, OH to the late Albert L. Sr. and Mary (Mullens) Royster. He attended Port Clinton High School where he played football and ran track. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Alaska during the Vietnam War. On November 19, 1977 he married the former Janice Mae (Beggs) who preceded him in death November 25, 2003. Albert retired in 2004 from Aeroquip in Fremont, OH where he was a paint mixer. He enjoyed selling things at flea markets, cheering on the Browns, Indians, and Ohio State, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his children: Melissa (Tomas) Mizelle of Oak Harbor, Albert (Cheryl) Royster III of Clyde, OH, Rick (Denise) Large of Oak Harbor, Tom (Carrie) Royster of Bellevue, OH, Marvin Royster of Sandusky, OH, and Daniel Royster of North Baltimore, OH; grandchildren: Zachary, Olivia, Lucas, Abigail, Gabrielle, Amelia, LeAnne, Lillian, Madeline, Benjamin, Jocelyn, Kelsi, Christian, Hannah, Leah, Michael, Brandon, Allie, Breanna, Judy Ann, J.R., Katrina, Elizabeth, Emily, Abigail Lillian, Adyn, Devyn, Kadynce, Dominic, and Quynn; great- grandchildren: Liam, Isabella, Stone, Jessica, Juliet, and Lukas; brothers: James (LaVonne) Royster of Oak Harbor, Randy (Penny) Royster of Port Clinton, OH, Arthur "Ray" (Carolyn) Royster of Oak Harbor, Robert (Peggy) Royster of Clyde, and Donald (Robin) Royster of Marshall, MI; and sister Judy (Sam) Crisco of Bellevue. He was also preceded in death by a brother Walter Royster and sister Lodis Royster. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
