Alan R. Raypole

Alan R. Raypole, 70, of Port Clinton, OH passed away on January 1, 2024 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born March 18, 1953 in Port Clinton, OH the son of Ray and Mary Ellen (Winke) Raypole. He was a 1971 graduate of Port Clinton High School. Alan was a longtime employee of McCullough Construction, which merged with Kwest Group where he retired as a project manager in 2021. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, World War II History, NASCAR and anything construction.

Surviving are his daughter: Sarah (Ted) Wierzba of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Thaddeus “T” Wierzba, Ashlyn Wierzba; sister: Karen Moffett of Port Clinton; brother: Kevin Raypole of Port Clinton; and his nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the funeral Home. Fr. Jonathon Wight will be officiating. Interment will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery following the service.
