Agnes Mack

Agnes "Granny" Mack, 98, of Marblehead, Ohio died peacefully Thursday October 11th, 2018 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born on June 1st, 1920 in Ney, Ohio, Defiance County. Agnes was the daughter of Arthur and Katti (McFeeters) Sprow and graduated from the Ney High School in 1938. In 1940 she married her high school sweetheart, Ross Pendleton and together had a son, Ronald Pendleton. Ross died in Italy, serving our country during WWII, in 1945. May 3rd, 1947, Agnes married Robert Mack who passed away in 2009. Agnes worked and retired from New Departure, Sandusky, OH. After retirement, she dedicated her life to her flower gardens, vegetable garden, making 8 course meals for whomever showed up, antique findings, and spending time with her family. Her belly laugh, spunk, and love for the farm life attracted people who became very close to her. She will be missed by many… She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Clyde Sprow, sister Velma (Sprow) Paul Hosler, sister Evelyn (Sprow) Roy Kretzer, Sister Olive (Sprow) Richard Stuckey, grandson Jamie Meyers. She is survived by her brother Wayne (Eileen) Sprow, Son Ronald (Sherry) Pendleton, grandchildren Ross Pendleton, Erik (Gloria) Pendleton, Adam Pendleton, Jessica Pendleton, and her great grandchild Luke Pendleton. Visitation will be held at Neidecker, LeVeck, and Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd, Marblehead, OH, on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM where a prayer will be said by Father Brown. Graveside services and burial will take place at Ney Cemetery, Ney, OH on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at 3 PM with Reverend Ron Adkins, officiating. In lieu of flowers, because Agnes was such an animal lover, we ask you to donate to the "Agnes Mack" fund at Four County Veterinarian Services by calling 419-483-8549.
