Agnes A. Dobis

Agnes Ann Dobis, 90, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Friday, July 29, 2011 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton. She was born on November 6, 1920 in Lorian, Ohio, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Fisho) Smith. She married John George Dobis, and he preceded her in death. She worked as a Waitress for over 30 years at the Holiday Inn before her retirement. She was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1610, Port Clinton; Eagles Lodge Aerie #2295, Port Clinton, and the American Legion Post #113, Port Clinton. Her hobbies included boating, shopping, and lighthouses. Survivors include seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Dennis John Dobis, daughter: Jeanette Ann Burch; and eight siblings. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, with the Rev. Fr. John C. Missler of Immaculate Conception Church, officiating.
