Addalain “Inie” (Gluth) Miller, 84, of Graytown, OH, died Thursday evening at her home. She was born in Oak Harbor, OH on May 2, 1922, a daughter of W. Frederick & Addie (Palmer) Nietfeld. Mrs. Miller was the cafeteria manager for many years for Benton-Carroll-Salem Schools, retiring in 1985. She was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor, and was also a member of Eagles #712, and Moose Lodge, #1286, both of Fremont, OH. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post #8732, Oak Harbor. Mrs. Miller enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and birdwatching. She was especially known for her cooking. She married Helmuth Gluth, Jr. in 1940, and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1984. In 1987, she married Albert L. “Red” Miller, and he preceded her on February 11, 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Gloor, Graytown, OH; grandchildren, Angie (Tony) Crandall, Michael E. (Stephanie) Stover, Heather (Mike) Managhan, Amy Gluth, and Erica Gluth; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, & Hannah Stover, Jillian Uretia, and Paige Managhan; sister, Marguerite Bennett; and a brother, James Nietfeld.. Also surviving is her brother-in-law, Frank (Deanna) Gluth; sisters-in-law, Hazel Miller, Virginia Miller, and Pauline Gulau; special friends, Rita Buehler, Brenda Fitzgerald, and her card playing pals, Bud & Barb Palmer and Mary Kania. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Gluth, her sister, Kathryn Baumgartner. Friends may call from 2-8 P.M. Monday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. A parish wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. James E. Peiffer officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Baumgartner Scholarship Fund, Mid-County E.M.S., the American Lung Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
