Theresa M. Thomas

Theresa Marie Thomas, 93, of Marblehead, OH passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at The Chalet at Ohio Living Vineyard on Catawba. She was born July 1, 1930 in Toledo, OH the daughter of Elmer and Margerie L. (Webb) Jeagle. She married Frank R. Thomas on October 26, 1950 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2009. Theresa graduated from the Whitney Vocation High School where she received her cosmetology license. She also attended the University of Toledo. She had worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney in Toledo. She spent sixty years on Lake Erie boating and fishing. She enjoyed her time with family, fish fries, playing cards with friends, needlework, bingo and cooking. For twenty-two years she and her husband wintered in Florida.

Surviving are her children: Sandy Weaver of Grand Rapids, OH, Cheryl (Steve) Dress of Marblehead, Terry (Barb) Thomas of Sylvania; grandchildren: Derek Dress, Emily (Eric) Price, Sam Thomas, Adam Thomas, many nieces and nephews and her beloved Dog Cookie. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother: Cleo Jaegle; sister: Sharon Morrow; infant granddaughter: Lydia Dress and son-in-law: Dennis Weaver.

Private family funeral services with interment in Sackett Cemetery will be held at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
