Stephen J. "Steve" Adams

Stephen J. “Steve” Adams, 56, of Marblehead, OH passed away at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky Monday, January 25, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 28, 1964 in Port Clinton, the son of James and Margaret (Ludrowsky) Adams. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1983 where he excelled in football and track. He was the State High Jump Champ and played football for Michigan State. He was First Team All Ohio in Football and 1982 Ohio Mr. Football. He was a member of The Danbury Athletic Hall of Fame and a member of the TAAC Athletic League Hall of Fame. He married Nikki Johnson on August 11, 1989 and she survives. Stephen was a manager at Venture in Sandusky. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead where he was a Lector. His family was his life and he enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife: Nikki; children: Brooke Adams of Avon, OH, Benjamin (Caitlynn) Adams of Avon Lake, OH, Brianna Adams of Cincinnati, OH; grandson: Phoenix Adams; siblings: Pamela Ramsey of Bowling Green, Mary Lou (James) Rinaldo of Marblehead, Daniel (Susan) Adams of Marblehead. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Philip Adams and sister: Debra Eichelberger. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and Friday, January 29, 2021 from 2:00 – 7:30 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH with the Rosary being recited on Friday at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father James Brown 10:00 am Saturday, January 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay, St. Marblehead, OH. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Stephen Adams Athletic Memorial Fund c/o Marblehead Bank.
