Rosalyn Naomi "Rose" Wozniak

Rosalyn Naomi “Rose” Wozniak, 90, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born June 3, 1933 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Louis and Pauline (Finken) Kuzma. She married Alfred J. Wozniak, Sr. on September 8, 1951 and together they have shared over 72 years of marriage. Alfred and Rose owned and operated Wozniak Sunoco in Port Clinton. Their bait boat, “Rose” was named after her. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton where she was an original member of the hand bell choir. She enjoyed watching many sports, especially the Cleveland INDIANS and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She raised peacocks and enjoyed reading and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving are her husband: Alfred; children: Paula (Cliff) Hart of Port Clinton, Jody (Don) Bacak of Port Clinton, Alfred J. (Jann) Wozniak, JR of Port Clinton, Roderick (Sally Clark) Wozniak of Port Clinton, Stanley Wozniak of Port Clinton, Melissa Wozniak of Mechanicsburg, OH; grandchildren: Tricia (Kumar), Sandra (Steve), Andrea, Alfred III, Brian (Alyssa), Laura (Jeremy), Benjamin (Alison), Gregory, Amanda; ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH 43452 where funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 15, 2023. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in LaCarpe Cemetery, Lacarne, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to St. John Lutheran Church Radio Ministry, 207 Adams St. Port Clinton, OH or Erie Township Fire and E.M.S.
