Robert Gary Tyler "Robby" Szabo

Robert Gary Tyler “Robby” Szabo, 33, of Key Largo, FL and formerly of Port Clinton, passed away at his home on August 21, 2024. He was born July 4, 1991 in Port Clinton, the son of Robert Scott and Ronette Yvonne (Grindstaff) Szabo. Robby graduated from Port Clinton High School in 2009 and received his BA from Ohio University in Political Science and his Master’s in Asian Economics. He enjoyed rock climbing and running and he competed in tennis and swimming while in school.

Surviving are his parents: Robert S. and Ronette Y. Szabo of Key Largo, FL; sister: Rachael Szabo of Key Largo, FL; grandparents: Joyce (Gary) Burhance of Delray Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bob and Molly Szabo and Larry Grindstaff.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Preisman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Private graveside services will be held at Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Donor’s Choice.
