Michelle L. Williams

Michelle L. (Pfaff) Williams, 51, of North Fort Myers, FL, and formerly of Port Clinton and Oak Harbor, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL.

Michelle was born in Oregon, OH on June 28, 1971, the daughter of Kenneth & Lois (Herkimer) Pfaff. She was raised in Oak Harbor and was a 1989 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. Michelle earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1994. She completed her education at Heidelberg University, earning a Master’s degree in Counseling. Michelle spent the majority of her career working in community mental health centers including the Zepf Center, Toledo, OH, and the Giving Tree in Port Clinton and Oak Harbor, and most recently at SalusCare, Fort Myers, FL. In 2005, Michelle and her first husband, Jim Kamman, purchased and developed the area that is now known as Plantation Lane in Oak Harbor.

On November 30, 2007, Michelle married Martin Williams and he survives in North Fort Myers. Also surviving are her parents, Ken & Lois Pfaff, Oak Harbor; brother, Chris (Jodi) Pfaff, Perrysburg, OH; nephew, Kendrick Pfaff; niece, Madelyne Pfaff; step-daughter, Meghan (Andrew) Simuangco and Casey Siner; and brother-in-law, Timothy (Angie) Williams. Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jan & Carol Herkimer; paternal grandparents, Charles & Betty Pfaff; aunt, Sandra Gilbert, uncle, Gary Herkimer; father-in-law, Norval Williams, and former husband, Jim Kamman.

A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2022 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 165 Toussaint St., Oak Harbor. Interment will be at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
