Michael E. Pluckhorn

Michael E. Pluckhorn, 53, of Port Clinton, OH died Friday, October 27, 2006 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born January 27, 1953 in Port Clinton, OH the son of the late Frederick and Ocie (Travis) Pluckhorn. He married Christine Riedmaier on August 26, 1978 and she survives. He worked for General Motors Power-Train, retiring October 1, 2006. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton and the United Auto Workers Union Local 14. Surviving are his wife: Christine; daughters: Michaeleen, Mary-Kate and Clare, all at home; brother: Fred B. Pluckhorn of Pinehurst, NC; sister: Myrna Petersen of Toledo, OH; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Mary Jo Pluckhorn. The family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. Sunday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Prayer services will begin at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 30, 2006 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M at Immaculate Conception Church, Port Clinton. The Rev. Raymond Ensman will be the celebrant, and interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Michigan Cancer Center or Immaculate Conception Church.
