Mary Lee Fidler

Mary Lee Fidler, 94 of Port Clinton, OH died Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Brookdale Skilled Nursing, Westlake, OH under Hospice Care. She was born May 30, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH to the late Bernice E. (Boyd) Bryant. She was a 1948 graduate of North High School, Columbus, OH. On March 15, 1952 she married Rev. Edwin R. Fidler who preceded her in death November 27, 2023. Mary Lee retired from Metlife Insurance Company where she was in the Claims Department. She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Vickery, OH.

Mary Lee was an avid reader and enjoyed watercolor painting. She loved animals, especially the birds at her feeder, and the family cats and dogs.

Survivors include her children: Kathy (Steven) Bobulsky of North Ridgeville, OH, Rev. Douglas (Rev. Deborah Wissner) Fidler of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Dr. Lee Anne (Gary) Siegmund of North Olmsted, OH; grandchildren: Dan (Stacy) Fronczak, Elizabeth (Jason) Jones, Jennifer (Nicholas) Capp, Benjamin (Molly) Fidler, Joseph Fidler, Nathan (Anne) Hinebaugh, Dr. Kristen (Eric) Maul and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by grandson Shaun Hinebaugh.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH 43440. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 1320 CR 268, Vickery, OH 43464, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10am at the Church. Interment will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Wounded Warrior Fund, St. Jude’s, or any local Humane Society or Animal Shelter.
