Mable C. Beckwith, 87, of Marblehead, Ohio died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born on September 19, 1920, in Morenci, Michigan, the daughter of the late Ray & Jane (Werner) Sanguines. She married Robert Beckwith on February 19, 1937, and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2005. Mable was a homemaker and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW post #7572, Marblehead, as well as a member of AMVETS, Toledo. Surviving is her son, Robert (Sandra)Beckwith, McClure, OH; daughters, Sandra (David) Stachowiak, Toledo, OH and Barbara Batcha, Marblehead; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, and brothers, Harley and Frank. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; great grandson, Sean Hennessy and brother, James Werner. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, from 2-9 PM at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, where members of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary will have services at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Fr. Daniel J. Ring officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH.
