Kathy M. Chaffin

Kathy M Chaffin passed away Saturday January 20, 2024 at ProMedica Hospital in Toledo Ohio with her husband by her side. She was born on January 5, 1949 in Port Clinton, Ohio the daughter of Jim & Wanda (Sarty) Ellenberger. She married her high school sweetheart Ron Chaffin on October 5, 1968 at St. John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandson James play PC Redskins basketball and racing go-karts, watching the Cleveland Cavs, spending time with her granddaughters, playing bingo, watching racing and loved bird watching, her favorite were eagles.

Surviving is her husband Ron: children Rachel (Jim) Crowe of Port Clinton, Rhonda (Ron Adkins) Chaffin of Port Clinton, Jayson (Kim) Chaffin of Port Clinton, grandchildren James Crowe, Ava Chaffin, Tenley Chaffin and Zach Adkins. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim & Wanda Ellenberger; brother James (Jimmy) Ellenberger; nephew James (Little Jimmy) Ellenberger; granddaughter Jaylah Chaffin; mother-in-law Darlene Dodway.
