John H. Mueller

John Harris Mueller, 87, of Catawba Island OH, beloved husband of Marie of 63 years, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born May 7, 1933 in Cleveland, OH to the late Edward and Louise (Mauder) Mueller. He was a 1951 graduate of John Marshall High School, Cleveland and received his B.S. in Engineering from Ohio University. John also proudly served his country in the United States Army. On August 31, 1957 he married the love of his life, Marie Kathryn Boyert. John worked for Republic Mfg, Weatherhead/ Dana Mfg, and retired from Central Brass, all of Cleveland. He enjoyed making memories with his family, being at the lake, and oil painting. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. John is survived by his wife, Marie; sons: John (Angie) Mueller, Bill (Sandi) Mueller, Joe (Judith) Mueller, and Anthony (Tammy) Mueller; daughter Suzanne (Tim) Freeman; grandchildren: Morgen, Brittany (Matt), Ashley, Michelle, Bill Jr, Marie (Paul), Daniel (Kaycee), Jacob, Jillian, Stephen (Alyssa), Kelsey, Benjamin, Alex, and Adam; great grandchildren: Kayle, Josie, Autumn, Aubrey, Alyssa, Marshall, Thomas, and Aunabelle; brother Ed (Halima) Mueller. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Annie Mueller. Services for both John and Marie will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Rd., Medina, OH, at 10.00 A.M. Interment will follow at Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH. wishing to give memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of the Donor’s Choice.
