Jennifer Lynn Almendinger

Jennifer Lynn Almendinger, 37, of Lakeside, Ohio died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on November 16, 1971 in Oak Harbor, Ohio, the daughter of Tommy L. and Alice (Goodman) Almendinger. She was employed as a premium auditor, working for the State of Ohio Bureau of Workman's Compensation. Jennifer loved being in the outdoors as she enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, grilling, and participating in the shooting matches at Camp Perry. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her parents: Tommy and Alice; brothers: Mike Alemdinger, Oak Harbor, OH and Tim Almendinger, Marblehead, OH; nieces and nephews: Heather, Tiffany, T.J., Alexis, and Zach; significant other: Matt Hill, Lakeside; and her canine companion: Gray. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH, on Monday, April 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, April 21, from 12-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 11:00 AM at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa Street, Oak Harbor where additional visitation will be held from 10-11 AM. Reverend Keith Hunsinger will officiate. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Portage Fire District or to the Marblehead Fire Department.
