Gregory Mckown

Gregory D. McKown, age 50, died unexpectedly Friday, May 21st at his home in Tomball, Texas. Greg was born August 12, 1959 in Magruder Hospital and graduated from Port Clinton High School with the class of 1977. He was a very enterprising and industrious person, having started successful businesses in both Fremont, California and Houston, Texas. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Sarina, Columbus, Ohio, son, Ben, Austin, Texas; his companion, Stephanie Locklear; his parents, Larry and Carol Carstensen; sister, Stephanee Moore (William), sister, Laura Devore (Joe); brother, Philip Carstensen (Jody); and many other family members. He was predeceased by brother, Martin Carstensen. He will be greatly missed by all. Services honoring Greg's life will be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church on Catawba Island on Friday at 12 noon. Friends may call from 11 am until that time. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery.
