Glenn T. Eoff

Glenn T. Eoff, 88, of Elmore died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Cottage Cove in Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. He was born December 14, 1919 in Elmore, OH to the late Jacob and Ruth (Cook) Eoff. He was a 1939 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. On June 20, 1943 he married the former Lois Musser who preceded him in death on February 16, 1998. Glenn worked in the Street Department for the Village of Elmore for 20 years retiring in 1981. Prior to that he worked at the former Erie Army Depot in Port Clinton. He was a Veteran and Gun Instructor for the United States Army, member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, 32nd Degree Mason, and Past President of the American Legion Post 279 in Elmore. Glenn enjoyed refinishing furniture, fishing and cooking. Survivors include his son Steven (Donna) Eoff of Elmore; daughters: Jeannene (Randy) Brown of Rio Rancho, NM, Jeannette Latez of Elmore, and Susan Elsea of Toledo, OH,; daughter-in-law Carol Blunk of WA.; brother Robert Eoff of Oak Harbor; 12 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 1 great- great grandson. He was also preceded in death by son James T. Eoff, son-in-law Glenn Latez and brother Alton Eoff. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Stuhmer officiating. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery with Military Services provided by American Legion Post 279.
