Geraldine Yingling

Geraldine "Gerry" Yingling, 82, of Lakeland, FL, died Monday, June 22, 2009. Mrs. Yingling was born in Elmore, Ohio, and was raised in Oak Harbor, Ohio. She lived in Toledo before moving to Florida in 1985. Mrs. Yingling is survived by her husband of 63 years, Willard "Bill" Yingling; sons, James (Rita) Yingling, Dennis (Diane) Yingling, and Lynn (Judy) Yingling; sisters, Patsy Swint, and Marilyn (Paul) Graber; sister-in-law, Gloria Martin; brother-in-law. Kenneth Wendt; grandchildren, Eric Yingling, Alan Yingling, Carrie Perry, Edward Yingling, Sarah Yingling, and Thomas Yingling, and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Yingling was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Hazel Martin; brother, Gordon Martin, and sister Jeannine Wendt. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2009 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. Pastor Kyle Timmons will officiate, and interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery. Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, is assisting the family with arrangements. Gerry was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
