David P. Zielinski, 69, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away suddenly Friday, April 17, 2020 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born June 21, 1950 in Bay City, MI the son of Joseph and Lillian (Pawinski) Zielinski. He married Ann Neering on June 19, 1971. David was a Mechanical Engineer graduate of Michigan Technological University and went to work for Praxair in 1973 and retired as National Customer Service Assets Manager in 2005, affording him a loyal and dedicated career. David was also an avid lover of hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife: Ann; treasured children, daughter: Katie (Michael) Munch of Maumee, OH; son: Matthew (Leigh Anne) Zielinski of Canfield, OH; beloved grandchildren: Lilly Munch, Jonathan Munch, Benjamin Zielinski, Matthew Zielinski, Breanna Zielinski, Joshua Zielinski; brother: Joseph (Donna) Zielinski of Johannesburg, MI; sisters: Mary (Bob) Pelt of Gainesville, FL, Kathleen (Kenny) Larrison of St. Petersburg, FL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 2:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH. A luncheon will be held at The Crow's Nest 2170 N. Buck Rd. Marblehead, OH.
