Clayton Gonya, Jr.

Clayton Gonya, Jr. 77, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at University Hospital, Cleveland, OH. He was born June 26, 1938 in Toledo, the son of Clayton and Marguerite (Kennelly) Gonya, Sr. Mr. Gonya worked at Uniroyal, City Bakery and Riverview Industries. Surviving are his special companion and friend of 30 years: Carol Bean of Port Clinton; sons: Keith (Kellie) Gonya of Port Clinton, Joe (Beth) Gonya of New Mexico; daughter: Becky Gonya of California; sisters: Barbara Renwand of Oak Harbor, Rita Osmon of Bellevue; brother: Ronnie (Ginny) Gonya of Columbus; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am August 3, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be given to Friends of Port Clinton Cemeteries or Port Clinton Athletic Boosters.
