Charles M. "Skip" Cody, passed away unexpectedly at his condo in Port Clinton on Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was born Feb. 13, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to Rev. Franklin D. Cody and May Lou (Sexton) Cody. He graduated from Findlay High School, B.G.S.U. with a B.A. Degree and B.G.S.U. with a masters in Psychology. Charles was a Regional Director for P.I.C., and Director of the Head-Injured Program at Toledo Hearing & Speech. In 1991 he became self-employed as Learning Systems. He became a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer upon retirement in 2008 and ran Charter Fishing on Lake Erie on his beloved boat "Catch 22". Skip married Debra K. (Fout) Cody on March 13, 1976 and is also survived by his daughter: Jessica R. Cody. A private burial at sea will occur at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, NW Ohio Chapter, 427 Dussell Dr. Suite 152, Maumee, OH 43537.
