Antoinette M "Toni" Ebeling

Antoinette M. “Toni” Ebeling, 81, of Fremont, OH, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at ProMedica Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH.


She was born on May 16, 1943 in Galveston, TX, and was a graduate of Sandusky High School. For 42 years, Toni drove school bus for the School of Hope in Fremont and was a passionate supporter of the Special Olympics. She greatly enjoyed drives along Lake Erie, often stopping at Catawba Island State Park for a picnic lunch. In her teen years while visiting family in Philadelphia, Toni auditioned for and was selected as a dancer for Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. She was well known for her flower gardens where she loved watching her hummingbirds. Toni enjoyed having lunch with her friends and collecting owls. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fremont.


On October 27, 1962, Toni married Elwood “EB” Ebeling in Sandusky and they enjoyed over 62 years together. She is survived by her husband EB, sons, Rich (Shellie) Ebeling; Randy (Tammy) Ebeling, and Tina (Kevin Hawkins) Ebeling, all of Fremont; grandchildren, Jamie (Jordan Gillmor) Ebeling, Corey (Shannon) Ebeling, Kaylee (Jeff) Ebeling, Brandon Ebeling, Ashley (Wes) Weinert, Justin Reagan, Tristen Laird, and Neveah Berrios; great-grandchildren, Brantley Ebeling, Scarlet Ebeling, Archer Cervantes, Deliah Weinert, Loretta Weinert, Gavin Ebeling, Noah Craig, Aliah Craig, Dilynn Ebeling, and Wilder Ebeling; brothers, John (Sharon) Werner, Joe Werner, both of Sandusky, and sister, Sue (John) Crosser, Oak Harbor. She was preceded in death by her mother Nelle A. Werner.


Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Wednesday at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, OH, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 20, 2025. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky, OH. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to please consider the Special Olympics or the Sandusky County Cancer Care Fund.
