Abigail L. Wilford Daughter Of Tyson (Roseann) Wilford

Abigail L. Wilford, 15, of Port Clinton, OH died tragically by suicide Friday, March 29, 2024. She was born November 4, 2008 in Toledo, OH the daughter of Tyson Wilford and Jenny (Eversole) Wilford. Abigail was an eighth grader at Danbury Middle School.

Abigail struggled nearly her entire life with mental illness, though she masked her pain so well to those who knew her. She was always so loving, caring, and supportive to everyone around her. She was active in the high school marching band and the school play. Abigail loved dogs. She would stop every dog owner on the street and ask to give their dog pets and love. On busy days, Abigail would emphatically share a count of every different dog she managed to pet throughout the day. In Abigail’s free time, you could find her riding a roller coaster at Cedar Point or walking around the neighborhood with friends; probably drinking her favorite iced latte or bubble tea.

Surviving are her parents: Tyson (Roseann) Wilford of Port Clinton, Jenny (Joe Rose) Wilford of Port Clinton; siblings: Alexander Wilford of Port Clinton, Katherine “Katee” (Ulises “Uli” Lopez) Todd of Findlay, Rosemarie Todd of Port Clinton; grandparents: Paula and Paul Wilford of Port Clinton, Scott and Mary Ann Witter of Marblehead, Carl Eversole of Columbus; best friend and cousin: Alexandra “Allie” Lang, her beloved pet dog, Looney and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. As well as a whole host of friends, neighbors, teachers, classmates, and more who fell under the spell of this bright, beautiful, and fun girl.

Visitation will be from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH with funeral services conducted at the funeral home at 1 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
